I have been dancing since the age of 5 enjoying many forms of dance, predominantly Ballet, contemporary, modern and Jazz. I have performed and experienced many other styles including musical theatre, Tap, Street-jazz, Commercial, Jive, Lyrical and hip-hop.

My training at Coulsdon college allowed me to experience styles; street-jazz, hip-hop, and musical theatre. Performing in 2 urban pantomimes Alice in Wonderland [2014] and The Wizard of Oz [2015], 2 Dance Showcases,  Dynamix; a dance performance [2015] and Dynamix; The history of cinema [2016] and 1 musical, devised by the performing arts students 'Don't you know who I am’ [2016]. Alongside college, I performed in C and C dances show ‘let's go to the movies’ [2016]

University Life

I went on to study at the University of Winchester where across the 3 years I participated in 3 End of the year shows one at the Theatre Royal in Winchester and 2 at The Point Theatre in Eastleigh. Performing pieces choreographed by Debbie Lee-Anthony and Shaun Smith (a member of Zoonation) [2017], Caroline Hotchkiss and Lila dance [2018] and Christopher Mathews - Hutchings and Shaun Smith [2019]. Throughout the 3 years, I was honored to work with several other artists and companies including; Luke  Brown, Avant Garde Dance co., Lila dance co., Maximilian Jarish, Mikey Ureta and Blue Apple theatre company.

In my final year of studies, I took on the role of Show/ Technical manager of the university's dance company D@win. My position in D@win has given me valuable skills in the setup and preparation for a dance tour. In this role I took care of video and sound editing, liaising with choreographers and the stage management team to put together the D@win tour and Showcase.

Alongside my studies I participated in Lets dance a sub-society of Performing Arts Winchester, during this time I performed in 6 lets dance showcases, 1 charity event and ‘P.A.W presents ‘A chorus line’ [2019]. Not only did I perform with P.A.W I got the opportunity to be the  Let's Dance Ballet Teacher [2017-2018] where I taught beginners and advanced ballet and choreographed 2 showpieces for each level.  As an additional part of that role, I participated in P.A.W's charity event 'Strictly paw’ [2017] as a professional, where the event raised funds for PHA UK.

In my final year, I was asked to choreograph and perform in a film piece based on Shakespeares Hamlet and the various renditions of Hamlet.

Currently, I work part-time as a fitness instructor for shapers ladies only gyms, which has allowed me to increase my knowledge of health and wellbeing, whilst maintaining my own physique. In this chapter of my career, I have enjoyed helping women with their own personal health goals, creating my own dance fitness classes and learning new exercises.

My mission is to share my love for dance in all its forms; by focusing on how advancements in technology can increase our perception of dance and the concepts it brings awareness to. My work as part of Illuminous Illusions and D@win Dance co. has increased my knowledge and love for the merge of dance and technology. I believe the cohesion of the fields allows for a wider range of choreographic tools at an artist's disposal and allows their work to be perceived in a more complex and layered way.
